"But the eating - it filled him with white light." - Sin City

What a difference a collar can make. The man on the left looks like Henry Lee Lucas's dumber brother; the man on the right, the sort responsible parents might entrust with their children.

Both are Father Gerald Robinson. I've written about him before. He's the Toledo priest belatedly facing trial for the 1980 ritual murder of a nun, Sister Margaret Ann Pahl. She was found, strangled and stabbed to death, in the sacristy of the chapel of Mercy Hospital, an altar cloth draped over her torso and her body posed lewdly to suggest she had been sexually assaulted. A "deliberate" pattern of stab wounds allegedly resembled a cross.

Sister Margaret Ann Pahl:

Today, Good Friday, is Gerald Robinson's 68th birthday. Margaret Ann Pahl was murdered on Holy Saturday. Her 72nd birthday would have fallen on that Easter Sunday. And Robinson's trial begins this Monday. A curious alignment of remembrance this long weekend.

Robinson was an early suspect and failed a polygraph test - he later admitted having lied when he'd said he'd heard the murderer's confession - but the case was cold until a number of women began to speak freely about having endured, as children, rape and ritual abuse in "cult-like ceremonies involving altars and men dressed in robes." Beneath the robes were Toledo clergy, and one of them, allegedly, was Gerald Robinson. ("I've had nightmares about this since I was a child," said one survivor. "I didn't think anyone would believe me.") Then, following the discovery of blood transfer patterns linking Robinson to the murder, he was arrested.

Again, it will be interesting to see how the ritual aspects of the murder and the ceremonial abuse of children get played by an embarrassed prosecution and a defense eager to capitalize on the seeming, bloody absurdity of it all. I mean, come on - just look at him. (The priest on the right, of course.)

Robinson retired from the priesthood in 2004, but his bishop has granted him permission to wear the collar in the courtroom. Good thing, too. That guy on the left didn't stand a chance.

Happy Easter, anyway.

There was a web site set up in the late 1990's called Freiendsreunited which turned out to be a roaring success. In it's earlier incarnations though, it suffered major legal problems as the accusations of sexual abuse were frequent and explicit. Many of these accusations could have been simple smears and yet some were not.
It was clear that schools in particular had a fair amount of collusion with dubious characters and religeous based schools seemed to attract more accusations than any other. Nowadays the lawyers and legal actions have prevented outright accusations so codified comments are the norm. There were at least couple of convictions for abuse.
Having experienced a catholic education I can only testify to excesses of violence and alcohol.

One of the resemblances to Lucas is the slight droop in the left eye.
I know Lucas had lost an eye. However at the end of Ch 1 of Springmeier's "Deeper Insights into tjhe Illuminati Formula..." there is a picture of Guy de Rothschild exhibiting the same feature , Springmeier alleges the droopy left eye is a characteristic of "illuminati" trauma programming.

Jeff, thanks for putting this back on the plate, so to speak. i appreciate all your posts, but especially those that deal with ritual abuse and this dark secret we as Americans (North Americans, that is) must confront. And again, "Sin City" is a great introduction to those who are still squeamish about kicking around the idea that those we've entrusted to protect us often abuse us (-- although the concept has thoroughly seeped into pop conscienceness, at the very least). I loved your post on the movie a few months back.

semper occultus -- interesting comment. It might all just be a coincidence. Then again, I've found in life that such things as coincidence rarely are...

Anonymous One, Jeff,I would like to see a picture of this high priest from the 1980's,I would bet he would look good in a Anton LaVey turtle neck.Your right on with "But the eating-it filled him with white light." Sin City. There is something about that movie, that seems like a warning to us, too bad most are to dumbed down to catch what they are showing us.I wonder what kind of slant Court TV will try to sell the sleeping masses on this one? Oh,Jeff could you tell us anything about the mass grave around Montreal that is being reported to hold the bodies of MKULTRA victims from the 50's and 60's,later.

I grew up in Toledo, enduring 12 years of Catholic education (no physical abuse, just mental). My father investigated sexual crimes for the Toledo Police Department. I always knew that people were capable of doing a lot of terrible things but this Toledo case has really bothered me, along with other accusations being made there. How could no one know these sick things were happening?

Why wouldn't perversions occur? How long can an adult repress natural human sexuality? Those collars just aren't tight enough to cut off feelings. The whole concept of a celebate priesthood is extremely odd, and coupled with a trade off of heavenly reward for the family of the priest, is ritual abuse in and of itself. Isn't Santanic worship the other side of this same coin? I wouldn't doubt there are scores of unreported victims of the Catholic Church - how could there not be?

What is the currrently going on with
Fritz Springmeier? Is he still in jail?

This paragraph from one of the newspaper articles you linked to really got my attention right away:

Police interviewed Jerry Mazuchowski, 53, a church lay minister and retired Toledo public school teacher who founded the group known as Sisters of Assumed Mary, or SAM. He said he told police detectives that his group did not break church laws.

SAM, like Son of SAM? Wonder if there are any other SAM groups across the country. Jerry claims they just dressed like nuns and camped it up. Could be so, but the acronym is so incredibly loaded to me. Sister Pahl's murder took place over 24 years ago, that would put it in vaguely the same timespan (within four years or so) of the Summer of Sam. I wonder when SAM was founded?

Warning seriously OT: Am I the only person watching '24' and thinking of the popular phrase "Art imitates life" or "Life imitates art"? Each of this year's episodes have left me increasingly wondering what the writers of this show are/were thinking when they came up with this dumb ass President and Gov't officials involved in terrorist plots designed to open foreign policy doors abroad...culminating in last weeks revelation that, horrors, the President himself, yes - the dumb ass, is behind the evil plot. And finally this week, Bauer's final line for the hour is to Audrey, the Sec of Defense's daughter, saying "we have to take down the President of the United States". I am saying 'wow' all week but wherever I go no one is talking about this. No one.

Interesting comment about "24." I watch that show in the background every Monday night (it's funny how you can keep it in the background and still follow it; try doing that with "Perry Mason"). Anyway, like the discussion was saying a few posts back, people can "take down the president" from the comfort of their couches and then do not have to leave their couches to do it, or anything, in real life.

The "idiot who really isn't an idiot" for president reminded me of a "Saturday Night Live" sketch in the 80s showing Reagan as a doting imbicile in the Oval Office with the top seller of Girl Scout Cookies in one instant, and then when the little girl left, he turned mean, grabbed the phone and started to speak to someone violently in Arabic. It made for a good show. How much of it is true?

But, we are going off topic. I was raised Catholic and there has always been an insidious side about the clergy. I knew it back then. You feared these people. As a little one I always wondered why the hell Sister Leila was so damn mean to us when the parents weren't around. Later the parish priest disappeared after being accused of fondling altar boys and the Archbishop himself got busted some months later. "Thank goodness it was a girl," a monsignor remarked. Yea, thank goodness it was a little girl.

When Sister Leila reinforced the heirachy by saying, "God loves you, Jesus loves you, Pope John Paul loves you and Archbishop Sanchez loves you," she wasn't kidding, I suppose.

My two centavos for the day. Feliz Pascua to all those who celebrate. Others enjoy the wonderful spring day...

slightly off topic but quite interesting regarding follow the money. This from Catherine Austin Fitts site at dunwalke.com:

Excerpt From European Lawsuit Against RJR Nabisco

If you like spy novels, you will find that the European Union’s presentation of fact to be far more fascinating than fiction. One of the complaints filed in the case describes a rich RJR history of business with Latin American drug cartels, Italian and Russian mafia, and Saddam Hussein’s family to name a few. The Introduction reads as follows:

1. For more than a decade, the DEFENDANTS (hereinafter also referred to as the “RJR DEFENDANTS” or “RJR”) have directed, managed, and controlled money-laundering operations that extended within and/or directly damaged the Plaintiffs. The RJR DEFENDANTS have engaged in and facilitated organized crime by laundering the proceeds of narcotics trafficking and other crimes. As financial institutions worldwide have largely shunned the banking business of organized crime, narcotics traffickers and others, eager to conceal their crimes and use the fruits of their crimes, have turned away from traditional banks and relied upon companies, in particular the DEFENDANTS herein, to launder the proceeds of unlawful activity.
2. The DEFENDANTS knowingly sell their products to organized crime, arrange for secret payments from organized crime, and launder such proceeds in the United States or offshore venues known for bank secrecy. DEFENDANTS have laundered the illegal proceeds of members of Italian, Russian, and Colombian organized crime through financial institutions in New York City, including The Bank of New York, Citibank N.A., and Chase Manhattan Bank. DEFENDANTS have even chosen to do business in Iraq, in violation of U.S. sanctions, in transactions that financed both the Iraqi regime and terrorist groups.

3. The RJR DEFENDANTS have, at the highest corporate level, determined that it will be a part of their operating business plan to sell cigarettes to and through criminal organizations and to accept criminal proceeds in payment for cigarettes by secret and surreptitious means, which under United States law constitutes money laundering. The officers and directors of the RJR DEFENDANTS facilitated this overarching money-laundering scheme by restructuring the corporate structure of the RJR DEFENDANTS, for example, by establishing subsidiaries in locations known for bank secrecy such as Switzerland to direct and implement their money-laundering schemes and to avoid detection by U.S. and European law enforcement.

This overarching scheme to establish a corporate structure and business plan to sell cigarettes to criminals and to launder criminal proceeds was implemented through many subsidiary schemes across THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY. Examples of these subsidiary schemes are described in this Complaint and include: (a.) Laundering criminal proceeds received from the Alfred Bossert money-laundering organization; (b.) Money laundering for Italian organized crime; (c.) Money laundering for Russian organized crime through The Bank of New York; (d.) The Walt money-laundering conspiracy; (e.) Money laundering through cut outs in Ireland and Belgium; (f.) Laundering of the proceeds of narcotics sales throughout THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY by way of cigarette sales to criminals in Spain; (g.) Laundering criminal proceeds in the United Kingdom; (h.) Laundering criminal proceeds through cigarette sales via Cyprus; and (i.) Illegal cigarette sales into Iraq.

Here's a mainstream story about the trial

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/04/14/nun.slain.ap/index.html

They dance around the RA aspect of it--but it's there, ...so far. Who's the expert? Is she legit--'sanyone know her?

Also--seems like the existence of serial killers is sometimes dismissed here (a cover for PTB doing what they do), but othertimes considered legit (Henry Lee Lucas and others connected in various ways to larger, darker forces, etc.). I view it as a real phenomenon. Along with such criminals being 'real', the profiling of such criminals seems legit.

I'm wondering if there's a profile for these priests (and such). Previous posts have shown pictures drawn by kids who reported witnessing RA/killings and there was a certain layout/nature to the room. This Toledo case involved a church basement--as did the Louisiana case.

What's the pattern? Is it the size of the room and its layout, or that the types of instituions/places where this goes on have such rooms? Does it also happen in private homes? In basements or living rooms? If privacy is the primary consideration, why the church basements?

Maybe the things I'm mentioning are obvious, but is more known? I saw a post a while back about a professor(?)/instructor of criminology in Indiana who taught about RA/killings--whose classes are always packed (if it helps to identify him, I think he was working with a woman who'd been a victim of RA). He discussed seeing evidence in a wooded area near his house of some sort of ritualistic goings on. What did he see?

If serial killers are 'real' in the way they are presented in criminology/forensics books, etc. and if profiling them really helps in catching them, couldn't it also make a difference in bring these RA types out into the public awareness? Apart from helping to identify them, if a the general public buys profiling of serial killers, a profile of these RA types might make them also digestible to the general public.

I went to catholic Schools all my life, and apart from the alchohol and violence thing, (in a few cases) it was pretty cool. Most Christian Brothers were actually alright, and talked about their vocation and the sacrifices they made for their religion. They wanted the students to understand that actions have consequences and choices have consequences. That being aware of them beforehand is part of the decision process, and vital to any sort of adult maturity.

My mother was a teacher in the catholic school system, so maybe that protected me from deviants.

I have a friend who sexually abused by her stepfather from the age of 3. He was a rape councellor, and also the vice principal or principal of a protestant establishment type girls private school.

She was a child prostitute from the age of 8. It was all establishment stuff. it took a friend and I years of work to help her begin healing.

That was before I became aware of the huge prevalence of child sexual abuse especially by those in powerful positions. She never actually talked about ritual abuse stuff. But she did say some weird things that i won't go into, when in altered states of consciousness.

Re her stepdads position. I always fence sit between the concept of organised child sexual abuse of the type Jeff refers to. A network where child abuse and worldly power are mutually inclusive, and the second dependant on the first.

And the idea that the perfect place for a wolf to hide is in full view.

The perfect place to take advantage of little girls is as a high school principal and rape councellor. Any dodgy bastard with brains would see that and go there. I coach boys/young men (12 to 15) to play footy these days, and I can see how easy it could be to take advantage of that positin, if you were a scumbag.

Perhaps not as a contact sport coach, cos we teach our boys to be able to physically handle themselves and maintain their physical space and integrity. But in any mentor type position, you could take advantage of it if you wanted.

I am still torn between the two. Its a bit like a wave particle duality. Perhaps both are true from a certain perspective.

Perhaps the darkness isn't organised, except on a molecular or spiritual level. And so as a result society tends to rganise to that pattern. With power and abuse being fundamental to each other.

Shades of Gnosticism there. That would also explain the idea of developing our "not dark" side. Especially if we take on roles of public responsibility. The semi Confucian idea that a stable nation has stable institutions, based on stable families, stable families being based on stable people. Stable people come about thru a process of self cultivation and personal development.

This isn't happening in our society and as a result people in power will be corrupted and there are no safeguards in terms of the development of personal honour and dignity, the things that do prevent abuse of power.

To me both models, organised abuse and opportunal abuse, rampart in society, are valid. Both could fit the evidence and could be seen interchangeably.

They are both vulnerable to the presence of personal honour and integrity.

And that is going to be the only thing that protects their immediate victims, and the rest of the world.

Blah blah blah

Happy Easter or whatever you celebrate.

A hospital chapel - that's where the nun was found dead if I'm not mistaken? - would not have afforded the killer much time to proceed with the crime without fear of discovery if the crime took place at the facility. Unless perhaps it was a very small town and the murder happened in the middle of the night. So I wouldn't expect that this was some sort of satanic ceremony with others (other than the man currently on trial) involved. Obviously, this guy does have religious ritualistic sexual fantasies of some type as evidenced both by the crude cross he stabbed into his dead victim and by the testimony of his live victims about the ritualistic nature of their sexual molestion. None of the news reports have said anything specifically about it being ritualistic in a satanic fashion however - at least not that I've read. I think its rather disgusting that the church is going to let him wear his collar to court.

They protect pedophiles by transferring them from church to church where they can molest victim after victim, and now they are helping a murderer of a nun to color the juries opinion of him by allowing him to wear the clothes of a priest? Nice.

Re: the tv show "24" I watch it every week. I have often wondered what kind of psyop was being played on the American public with this show.

How about justifying the necessity of torture, the corrupt nature of our government, the fear mongering of chemical/bio attacks, nuclear weapons, and fear of foreigners, etc. (They are all out to GET US) All things which the PTB want to inculcate into the pysche of the American public.

And then it also implies the corruption of the PTB, with the President being the power behind the terror threats (shades of real life??)

Is there a real "Jack Bauer" for America?

It's really like FOX is playing both sides of the game. Instilling fear and herd mentality to support the "We're only doing it to make America safe" line of the regime, while at the same time saying that the REAL ultimate bad guy IS the regime.

It's like the best of both worlds... helping the timid feel safe because Government will do "Whatever it Takes" to keep us safe , while at the same time making the "paranoid" (like me... ha) more paranoid. Anyone who watches the show is influenced in a way that can be material to the PTB. It's a No Lose situation for them.

Don't forget the "Lone Gunman" episode was on FOX. Of course Condoleeza must not watch FOX, of she could never have made her famous comment that no one could even imagine flying airplanes into buildings.

Sorry to hijack the comments.

You seem fixated on the last two lines of my post.

I made my comment of "Happy Easter to those who believe". Apparently you don't. I haven't said whether I do or don't. But Easter is a holiday noted on most calendars. I may as well have said "Happy Tax Day to all Americans" in reference to April 15. Get a grip, bud.

End of story: Israel triumphant
By M K Bhadrakumar

In Gabriel Garcia Marquez' novella Chronicle of a Death Foretold, virtually everyone in the town knows that Santiago Nasar is going to be murdered. Yet nobody can or will do anything to prevent it. The murder is motivated and inexorable. Yet no one quite knows why Santiago Nasar, a rich young swashbuckling fellow, must die.

There is a similar feeling of unforgiving inevitability about President George W Bush's desire to go to war with Iran. In its carefully woven plot and its inventive, non-linear structure that is intended to sustain dramatic tension, Bush's Iran war leaps out of the

China Business Big Picture

pages of Marquez' metaphysical murder mystery.

But there is nothing mysterious about the general plot outline. Seymour Hersh, an investigative journalist for The New Yorker magazine, has now filled in the details of Bush's rush to war. Yet for all its sense of inevitability, the story line still has indeterminacies. Truth is continually slithering away from it - like a sly serpent determined to live for another day.

Three concentric circles have been forming for the past six years of the Bush presidency around the "Iran question". Bush administration officials can draw satisfaction that finally they are beginning to reinforce one another. The debate henceforth is less about the main objective; it has come down now to the details of the timing and execution.

Of the three circles, the one outside the perimeter concerns the various factors that the Bush administration is compelled to reckon with within the United States. Inside that lies another circle involving the factors at work in the Arab Middle East. At the center, at its very core, is the US agenda of dominating the region. Put another way, it is about securing Israel's dominant position in a New Middle East.

The most important information that Hersh put in his New Yorker article was not details of the presence of US intelligence operatives on Iranian territory, nor about the Pentagon simulating attacks on Iran. It was not even about the horrendous possibility that the Bush administration might use tactical nuclear weapons against buried nuclear sites. But it was the chilling reality that any military move directed against Iran would become a "bipartisan" matter in the US.

According to Hersh, Bush has included - implicated, one might say - opposition Democrats among the select group of legislators he has begun to brief about the imperative of attacking Iran. That may be why Democrats are either silent on a possible attack or are actually trying to position themselves to the right of the president.

The reluctance of senior Democrats to articulate anti-war sentiments was underscored last weekend when a student audience at Brown University in the state of Rhode Island heckled Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Being the front-runner among apparent Democratic presidential hopefuls in 2008, she apparently believes she can ill afford to articulate anti-war sentiments, even if they don't go over well on campus.

Support for Zionism
The support for Israel among the organized Christian groups in the US has increased dramatically in recent years. Christian evangelicals, who currently wield unprecedented influence in US politics, regard the return of the Jews to their ancient homelands as a prerequisite for the Second Coming. No serious politician in either the Republican or Democratic camp can ignore the resurgence of Zionism in US politics.

Iran has been implanted in the US evangelical consciousness as Israel's Enemy No 1. Also, Iran is equated with Islam, and that religion, in turn, is identified with terrorism in Bible Belt America. Conservative Christian ideologues routinely indulge in shrill condemnations of Islam, which is portrayed as a threat to the righteousness of Christian and Zionist principles.

Many US evangelicals believe that God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people and that the Palestinians who live in the West Bank and Gaza should be removed to another Arab country. Some evangelicals believe that God punished assassinated former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin for offering to trade land for peace with the Palestinians.

Thus, curiously, the Bush administration is presented with a political "win-win" situation. The best way of rallying Americans behind the Bush presidency would be to go to war with Iran. That would boost Bush's overall popularity with the voters, which is currently so abysmally low that he may soon become a lame-duck president.

Looking beyond his own shores, Bush sees more opportunities to promote America's and Israel's agenda. Iraq is in the midst of a civil war that threatens to spread throughout the Middle East - paradoxically, on account of the mayhem in Iraq. The pro-American Arab regimes in the region see the Iraq situation with growing alarm.

Their vital interests increasingly overlap Israel's. The pro-American Arab regimes, especially Egypt and Jordan, and Israel alike realize that there is an Arab leadership void in the region. Egypt and Syria are pale shadows of what they used to be. Syria is badly isolated. And in the framework post-September 11, 2001, something has fundamentally changed in the previously tight Saudi-US relationship.

These Arab regimes (and Israel) harbor deep misgivings about the Shi'ite ascendancy in Iraq and the likelihood of its spilling over its borders. Also, they equate the Shi'ite ascendancy with an expanding Iran. King Abdullah of Jordan has warned about the specter of an emergent "Shi'ite crescent" in the region. Lately, President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has sounded a similar alarm. "There are Shi'ites in all these countries who are significant percentages [of the population], and Shi'ites are mostly loyal to Iran and not to the countries where they live," he said.

Mubarak's statement calls attention to the heightening sectarian divide across the Middle East. But that is its side0effect. A seasoned politician like Mubarak would speak with deliberation. He was addressing Washington on behalf of fellow Arab rulers who harbor a deep sense of disquiet over the planned talks between the US and Iran over the future of Iraq originally scheduled to begin this weekend. Israel of course is perennially nervous about any US-Iran face-to-face dialogue of any kind.

Specifically, Arab rulers such as Mubarak are terrified of the prospect of the US keeping them out of the loop on decision-making in Iraq. On April 5, Cairo hosted a ministerial meeting of Arab countries to exchange views on these very concerns. Earlier, the intelligence chiefs of these Arab countries also met in this regard. (Syria is excluded from these hush-hush parleys.)

Israel shares the unease of these Arab regimes that the "Sunni Arab core is becoming a political periphery relative to the new core, which has moved eastwards to Iran", to quote Asher Susser, a prominent Israeli strategic thinker. He added: "Saddam Hussein's Iraq was once the Arab bulwark in the east, but its removal has opened the floodgates for Iranian regional ascendancy, for which nothing positive can be said from an Israeli standpoint."

Furthermore, Iraq's possible breakup is a nightmare for the Arabs (and Israel) since southern Iraq would come even more under Iranian influence. That could trigger massive Arab street protests, jeopardizing the very existence of the Arab regimes by further strengthening the forces of radicalism such as Hamas, Hezbollah and Muslim Brotherhood. (There is a method after all in Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad's seemingly outrageous statements.)

Beyond these regional equations in the Middle East lies the inner core, the first circle, of the Bush administration's strategy toward Iran. It is, and has always been, securing Israel's regional dominance. Here any unfinished business is simply impermissible since it can have catastrophic effects on Israel's security. Let's see what has been achieved so far since the invasion of Iraq three years ago.

Saddam Hussein's removal brought Syria under sustained pressure - weakening it, containing it somewhat and even rolling it back from Lebanon. Syria can no longer challenge Israel on Lebanese soil. Israel may still have some way to go to seize the strategic initiative along its northern border, but a beginning has been made. On the other hand, Syria's territorial integrity remains intact, and that is a fundamental roadblock to any redrawing of the map of the Middle East. A fragmentation of Iraq could have the "positive" outcome of disintegrating Syria.

Meanwhile, Syria is hardly in a position anymore to undermine and humiliate Jordan. To that extent, Israel can still hope to shape its strategic environment further in cooperation with Jordan. But Iraq's future is bound to affect the strategic balance in the Middle East profoundly. This also hampers the optimal utilization of Jordan's secret cooperation with Israel.

Ideally, of course, if Jordan can replace Iran as the main influence over the Iraqi Shi'ites, that would enable King Abdullah to wean the south Lebanese Shi'ites away from Iran as well. In such a scenario, the Jordanian king can be of real help to Israel in bringing the Lebanon problem under control.

But for all this come to fruition, Iran needs to be contained. Once Iranian influence is rolled back, the Shi'ites in Iraq and Lebanon will naturally gravitate to the Hashemites of Jordan. An orderly transition becomes possible even in Saudi Arabia.

Finally, Israel has come some way already toward forging a new relationship with the Palestinians on its terms. Israel no longer has any obligations under the old Oslo agreements. But here again, much work lies ahead. Jordan could have helped Israel in cultivating Palestinians willing to work with Israel in the era post-Yasser Arafat. Instead, Israel today has to contend with the rise of Hamas (with Iranian backing) as the alternative to the Fatah's base of power. Any way you look at the equation, Iran stands in the way.

Israel's interests today are, of course, radically different from what they were in the past. Israel has made peace with the key countries of the "Arab core" - Egypt and Jordan. Israel has contained its foes. But Israel is still far from transcending the Arab-Israeli conflict and becoming the most important element in the history of the Middle East, which would lead to a truly New Middle East.

So, what's really wrong with Jesus? Is it the fact that He is the only one in the history of man/womankind to return from the dead under His own power, i.e., the Power of GOD ALMIGHTY, or is is that you little "paganists" just like to be free to fornicate, do the drugs of your choice, and contract the latest NWO designer diseases, or are you all just too stupid to realize that this universe is not an accident, and that the One Who made it all really cares about each and every one of us, to the point that He sent His only begotten Son to come here and DIE for our sins?

Isis, I truly believe that you have been sent down the wrong path of life, and that you need to find the real truth before you expire.

I truly believe that I am correct in my studied assumtions, but, for argument's sake, let's say I'm wrong.

What, then? Where is my mind/heart/soul going to end up if I buy into your "Mother Gaia" meme? do I get to come back to earth as a mere earthworm, because I was a "lawyer" in this life? Because, It that is your theory, then, I'd just as soon go the the Roman Catholic version of Hell. I don't see a lot of difference in the choices.

By your standards, what must I do to achieve Nirvana, Heaven, or whatever passes for it in your reality? What WILL Become of the "me, that is ME" when my mortal body is dead??

Do any of you others out there have a better answer than Jesus and Heaven? Because, if you do, I would be very eager to hear it, and how I can achieve it.

Easter is a pagan celebration, it's all on fertility etc. The dates concerning the birthdays & trialdate are not coincidental, rather more synchronicizing. It's all in symbols and numbers. Those people worship funny animals and think it's satan. Sad enough, but it goes further. The symbols get more meaning and power when they or their percepted meaning)are inversed. (pentagram, white dove etc. ) fertility=death.
Satanic rituals occur more often on so-called 'crossquarter' days/periods ( Beltane, Samhain) than on 'normal'days.
Paganism never really left the picture, it has always been incorporated into (Roman) Christianity. The pope who chose to do so was a pagan himself.

So and now more coffee,
happy Easter.

Jesus and Allah have nothing to do with it.

Bush intentionally allowed AQ Kahn's black market network to supply Iran with nuke raw material and technology. That is why Bush, Cheney and Lewis Libby exposed the identity of Valerie Plame in the CIA Leak Case. She was working on Kahn's network and its links to Dick Cheney, Rumsfeld and Bush.
Bush and Cheney have been running a black market nuke operation out of the White House and using the US tax payer's dollars to fund it. (as usual)

The 'War on Terra' is just one big cluster-fuck scam job, protection money extortion racket. Everyone is in on it for fun and profit: the Chinese, Russians, Americans, French, British, Israelis, Pakistanis, Saudis, Iranians, Syrians, AQ Kahn, weapons dealers and international narcotics cartels. There are no 'good guys' here and the name of the game is to line your pockets with cash while killing as many Arabs and Jews as possible in the process. The foot soldiers on the ground and the general public are clueless as usually. The Bush Family is seeping blood from every pore of their skin (imagine the elevator scene in 'The Shining') while the American population suffers from a collective case of Stockholm Syndrome and Cassandra Complex. They are all playing Russian Roulette with the Planet, just to make a buck. I wouldn't be suprised if Bush uses a small tactical nuke on Iran (though I pray it won't happen) Multi-generational insanity knows no bounds. A tactical nuke will be the icing on the 'Terra' cake and Iran will be the last sacraficial lamb, as the WTC and Iraq were before it, thus insuring that this 'ghost war' will last generations--a claim Cheney has made repeatedly in the past. See you in Helvete.

Trying to intimidate while misunderstanding an old collection of documents will not bring salvation.

Come as a little child before the Lord. That means; get over your ego games and social conditioning.

Salvationists tend to be easily manipulated and are lunchmeat for negative etheric entities. Self-abdignationists are the polar expression to the Salvationists, and is dinner to these forces. Both expressions are self-centered and obscure opportunities for authentic expression of being and fellowship.

Christ is raised when we learn to balance the Law and Spontaneity, thereby turning something that can be negative when unbalanced into something positive.

Hope everyone had a good rebirth/fertility celebration over the weekend. It's a good thing we have those olde pagan customs to fall back on, or we wouldn't have any holidays at all (or at least any 'Christian' ones).

Now, before anyone gets on be for Jesus-Bashing, I've got no beef with the J-Man or his suggestion that we should all try to be kind to each other, and not worry so much about amassing worldly possesions. Of course, it's all second or third-hand, so who knows what he actually said or did. Regardless....

Usually, I try not to let myself go for the bait, but Mr. Cochran has nicely ilustrated one of my main sticking points with mainstream Christianity. Now, I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the main point of spirituality is to come to the realization that we're part of a larger whole, something bigger than one's 'self' or ego. Somehow this has been twisted into some immortalist BS where the main goal is to maintain the individual ego into eternity. What's the deal with that?
_____

As to the '24' debate. I've never seen the show. Stopped watching TV (as much as possible in this saturated culture) back in 1999. STOP WATCHING TV IMMEDIATELY!!! It's mind control, pure and simple. Worse than heroin. Can you deny it, junkie?

Oh, full disclosure. I'm still thouroughly addicted to mainstream Hollywood movies, and mainlined enough TV during my youger years to kill a brontosaurus, so I'm not trying to get holier-than-thou here. Just concerned for the future of the planet and all.

Have a nice day?

How does one survive in this mad world surrounded by know nothings? I know nobody who thinks like me or sees what is really going on. A few, of course, march on demos and spout anti-Blair and Bush statements while they are driving down to the mall on the weekend to do what everybody else is doing. What do I do? Start buying survival gear? Join a miltia? None here in England. Get out of London to a small town in the hills? Join a hippy commune? Who can I talk to? I'm surrounded just like we all are. Help! Maybe if I could find a woman who reads Rigorous Intuition!
I'm cleaning up my act. Go to AA. Meditate. That works. Synchronisity in top gear. Intuition running smoothly.
Any other suggestions?

TODAY:
Nun Missing; Foul Play Suspected
April 17, 2006, 10:18 PM

BUFFALO (AP) -- Foul play is suspected in the disappearance of a Catholic nun who is the founder and director of a residence for former prison inmates, authorities said. Authorities also said foul play is suspected.

Sister Karen Klimczak, 62, was last seen Friday night at Bissonette House, where she lives. The residence is at the same address as Hope House, the halfway house she founded in 1989 for non-violent ex-convicts.

Some of  the nun's clothing, her cell phone, and other items were found in two trash bins near the home, Police Commissioner H. McCarthy Gipson said. "Foul play was likely involved," he said.

Church members became concerned when the nun missed several appointments Saturday. She also failed to show up for Easter services.

"We are praying that Sister Karen is safe and will soon be home," said Bishop Edward U. Kmiec of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. "She is a woman of God who has selflessly given spiritual guidance and her time to many of those who have been cast off by society."

This battle, unfortunately, is all about human nature itself and the warring elements are both the creations of a religious view that was expressly designed to dominate and control rather than ever liberate or uplift any human spirit.

The artifice of a cosmic black and white struggle superimposed on the natural world for the supposed winning of "souls" in which, oddly enough, the submission of physical bodies and the physical world itself was the only real measure of success...on either side.

Those who willingly accept the existence of such a grandious contest can only ever see themselves as mere puppets and pawns caught between relentless forces that can only be appeased by some kind of sacrifice.

Inevitably that sacrifice must be on their part or by deliberately sacrificing others.

2000 years and counting and they still "...know not what they do."

I was raised in an ultra-right-wing Catholic family, which had Fundamentalist & Occult-worshipping tendencies & ultimately was a precursor (in the 1970s) for all that I have seen in Opus Dei.

Tom Monaghan (Domino's Pizza magnate, ultra-right-wing nutjob as described by previous commentator) bought a Frank Lloyd Wright house less than a quarter-mile from our house in rural Michigan. (Giving away a lot of details here). No less than a dozen homes in the neighborhood ultimately were revealed, years after I left, to have been sponsoring serious child abuse, including sexual. The family across the street from me and next door all were sexually abused (11 kids in all), as well as other families nearby.

Our family (including an ex-seminarian father) specialized in rigorous & inventive physical abuse & religious psychosis, but all the other types of abuse were also there, very covert.

My point?

All of this has prepared me for "zero surprises" in what has happened to America in the subsequent years, including the hard-right shift, the tactics of the Right, the covert radical Neocons, the rise of Opus Dei, and my suspicion that we ain't seen nothing yet.

Nothing would surprise me.

Except the idea that an Argentina-style military coup & mass-disappearances/executions won't happen within ten years. That would surprise me.

Blaylock then posed the question: Why would our leaders betray tens of thousands of their best and bravest soldiers to a communist system that had murdered millions of its own citizens?

In his review, he came to this conclusion based on Dr. Douglas' research and writings:

After analyzing thousands of documents and interviewing numerous individuals, some of whom had direct access to many of the individuals responsible, including a communist official who was part of this ghastly program, Dr. Douglass could only conclude one of two things. First, that there were (and still are) agents working for the Soviet/Russian government burrowed deep in our own government in positions of power and influence. This is now known to be the case following release of the Verona intelligence files. And, second, that other misguided individuals high in the decision making process deluded themselves into believing that they were working for a greater good --- a peaceful mergence with the Soviet state.

Ironically, this policy of betrayal continued through many presidents and their appointed officials. Over 8000 men were abandoned in Korea and as many as 5000 or more following the Vietnam War. In this disturbing yet fascinating book we learn of how men in positions of power --- intelligence organizations, the State Department, the National Security Council and the Pentagon --- all conspired, and continue to conspire, to keep this horrifying policy secret. Those who attempt to uncover these secrets, including the families of these abandoned men, are subjected to lies, deceit, character assassination, and even intimidation to keep them quiet. In some instances, suspicions of murder are also involved.

Witnesses to these events involve numerous intelligence officials, high-ranking North Vietnamese defectors, KGB and GRU officers, and American officials privy to highly classified intelligence, such as Col. Phil Corso. Of particular importance was General Major Jan Sejna, one of the highest-ranking defectors to ever come out of the communist system. Dr. Douglass spent years debriefing General Sejna and during those years they became close friends. The story General Sejna tells is one of the most horrifying ever told.

According to General Sejna, the taking of American citizens, both as soldiers and as civilians during the Cold War, to be used a guinea pigs was a matter of Soviet policy at least as early as 1950. Their purpose was to use these men to test numerous weapons of war, including chemical, biological and nuclear, in a series of ghastly experiments conducted both in the war zone, such as Korea and Vietnam, and in the Soviet Union itself, where the most sensitive experiments were conducted. Thousands of American POWs and civilians were captured, then shipped to the Soviet Union for this purpose.

During the Korean War and Vietnam, hundreds of American POWs were taken to special hospitals that were run by military intelligence. There they were subjected to surgical operations, including amputations, without anesthesia, injected with radioactive isotopes, biowarfare microorganism, and mind-control drugs.

The last of these, the mind-control drugs, eventually became the centerpiece of the Soviet long-range strategy against the West, especially the United States. The program began in earnest under Stalin and was expanded after Khrushchev took control in 1954. American POWs were shipped to Czechoslovakia, Cuba, East Germany and the Soviet Union for these experiments. Czechoslovakia was the major point of transfer for prisoners taken to the Soviet Union. General Sejna, who was chief of staff to the Minister of Defense and who ran the sensitive Defense Council secretariat, helped plan the operation and monitor its implementation. He personally witnessed the arrival of the American POWs in Prague and their eventual shipment to the Soviet Union. He also read the autopsy reports detailing the results of these experiments.

Most disconcerting is that thousands of these Americans were reported by numerous KGB and GRU eyewitnesses. Even President Yeltsin in 1992 acknowledged to press reporters that some were probably still alive in the Soviet gulags. Yet, even more upsetting was the knowledge that this was known at all levels of our own government, including the intelligence communities, the State Department, Defense, and White House. Officials in all these agencies have conducted a fifty-year unrelenting war, not on our enemies, but on those who would expose these policies and thus endanger the cover-up. Only those who have sought to learn and tell the truth have suffered.

One of the most important parts of Dr. Douglass's book is the extensive details concerning the Soviet mind-control drug program and its accomplishments. In a previous book, Red Cocaine, The Drugging of America, Dr. Douglass exposed the world-wide drug problem we now face as having originated from a strategic war policy that had its beginnings during the Korean War. It was at this time, Khrushchev realized that mind-control drugs, in combination with the illicit drug campaign, would allow the global communist revolution to succeed.

From the results of their experiments on American POWs, the Soviets were able to refine these drugs so that they could better manipulate their enemies. Some drugs allowed them to alter their enemies' beliefs, so as to convert enemies to friends, as was the case with Finland's Communist Party leaders. Others, so-called "chaos drugs," could cause riots and social breakdown. Still others could induce a state of total apathy, so that the POWs no longer were concerned about having to spend the rest of their lives in the filthy, dangerous Soviet gulag. Special "self-destruct" drugs were used against political opponents, so as to make them behave in ways that ruined their reputations. Of great concern was the Soviet idea of incorporating drugs designed to influence behavior and mental attitudes into illicit drugs and even commonly used prescription drugs, so as to affect millions.
